For this fifth Sunday of Lent, I have decided to simply link you to a YouTube video featuring John Michael Talbot’s musical setting for the Apostles’ Creed, taken from his 1979 album, The Lord’s Supper.  As I’ve said in previous posts, the Sundays in Lent are always celebrations of the resurrection of our Lord.  I love what Talbot does here when he comes to that part of the Creed that says, “On the third day he rose again.”  Perhaps this may also serve, for some of you who are younger and part of a generation that “knows not Joseph,” to introduce you to the music of this early figure in the “contemporary” Christian music movement.
