Inasmuch as this blog is dedicated to biblical theology, part of what I want to do is to make you aware of other biblical-theological resources. So, I wish to call your attention to a new blog started by one of my former students, Brent Dunbar. Brent is a graduate of Taylor Seminary, and was certainly one of the best students I have ever had. After graduation, he pastored Fellowship Baptist Church in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, for about seven years. And for the past couple of years, he has been the lead pastor for Renfrew Baptist Church in Calgary, Alberta.
Just recently, Brent began a Doctor of Ministry program at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. The programs is actually a DMin in Biblical Theology. To my knowledge it is the only such program in North America.
Coincident with his beginning this program, he has also started a blog which, in his words, has to do with “Meditations, Questions, and Expressions of All Things Theological.” Though this description does not specify “All Things Biblical-Theological,” you can be sure that a good number of his posts will be so oriented. Indeed, he has already posted a number of entries where biblical theology comes to the forefront, and below I have provided links to these posts. I encourage you to drop by his site, read, and linger a while. You’ll be glad you did.
Not Quite at the Ecclesiastes 12:12C Level Yet
